Meet Luke Gillmore: The UK creator bringing personality to branded UGC

Some UGC creators make being in front of the camera look effortless, and Luke Gillmore is one of them!
Based in the UK, Luke has been creating content full-time for three years and has worked with around 300 brands in that time. He’s brought a wealth of experience to the Creatively Squared community over the past year, and his creative ideas and confidence on camera have made him one of our go-to creators, especially for brands like Philips.
What we love most about Luke’s work is how relaxed it feels. Whether he’s introducing a product or showing how it works, his videos never feel like an ad, because Luke knows all too well nobody likes being sold to. That easygoing feel doesn’t happen by accident though. He plans every shot before he hits record and is a pleasure to work with from brief to delivery.
We’ve loved seeing the personality he puts into every project, so let’s get to know Luke a little better.

Let’s chat with Luke
Hey everyone! My name is Luke Gillmore. I've been a full-time content creator for the past three years and I've worked with around 300 brands 🤯 When I'm not creating content I'm probably on a trip somewhere, in a coffee shop or mentally planning my next video haha 😂
I love creating content on travel, app, and lifestyle. But honestly, I’m an all-rounder. I must’ve worked in every niche! I would describe my personal aesthetic as casual, creative and slightly all over the place 🤷🏻♂️
Luke’s journey with Creatively Squared
Creatively Squared reached out to me to take part in one of their campaigns. It was a super fun brief so I had to say yes! Every Philips project I’ve worked on with the team has been equally enjoyable. I’m super grateful to always have creative freedom with no strict scripts 😊
Tools of the trade
It’s just me and my iPhone, tripod, DJI mic and CapCut for post-production. I shoot in any room, car, beach, cafe, park, anywhere really.
Luke’s creative process
Every time I have a shoot, I ALWAYS have to have a plan. Every shot is decided before I even start recording. Most of the time, I shoot by myself but I do rope my girlfriend into helping me sometimes 😄
Surprisingly, I hit a creative block more than I’d like to admit. To get myself back in the zone I just take some time completely away from content creation. That’s when the best ideas come!

Top creative tip
Keep it chill, don’t try to be a salesperson (nobody likes being sold to)
It's been a pleasure having Luke as part of our creative community for over a year…we're so glad you said yes to that first project!
A big thank you to Luke for the creativity, energy and personality he continues to bring to our campaigns. Follow him on his Instagram @socially_luke to see more of his work.
