How Rose brings professionalism and humour to every UGC brief

There's a reason Rose Dahler keeps getting booked. The Norwegian-born, UK-based creator has become one of our go-to names for lifestyle and beauty UGC, delivering sharp, personality-led videos across multiple Philips campaigns. Her background as a dancer and model means being in front of the camera comes naturally to her, but it's her mix of professionalism and humour that makes her work memorable.
Rose has that rare kind of presence that instantly draws you in. She's expressive, confident and knows how to bring a brief to life without it feeling forced. Her aesthetic is clean and down to earth, with a glint of something playful underneath, which is exactly what makes her such a joy to watch.
She found us through a call-out for Norwegian creators, which her roots made her a natural fit for, and it didn't take long for her to become one of our favourites. Rose has already built out a strong portfolio with us, from Sonicare to Lumea to a Father's Day shoot starring her own dad. She understands what's being asked, knows how to make it her own and most importantly, delivers. We are so glad you found us Rose!
But there's plenty more to Rose than what's on screen. Let's meet the creator behind the videos, hear how she plans a shoot and find out why her notes app is a mess of two languages.

Let’s chat with Rose
Hey everyone, my name is Rose Dahler! I’m a 28-year-old UGC creator from Norway who moved to England nine years ago to pursue my dream of becoming a professional dancer. Now, I currently work as a dancer and a model 😄.
When I started modeling in England, I was lucky to get some work opportunities like presenting and creating content for different brands. That’s how I became interested in UGC content creation!
It also helped that my favorite thing to do growing up was to create movies and skits with my friends. I still make silly videos with my friends, like, for example, parkour parodies. To me, making videos is all about having fun!
The content genres I love the most are lifestyle and beauty / selfcare. I believe my personal aesthetic is clean but down to earth/relatable and fun.
When I don’t create content, I love to travel, go to the gym, and cook.

Journey with Creatively Squared

I found out about Creatively Squared through a Facebook group. Their community manager Marisa created a post saying they were looking for Norwegian creators! I remember thinking that Creatively Squared seemed like a very professional and fun company to work with.
The most enjoyable project that I’ve worked on so far would be the Father's Day project for Philips. My father came to visit from Norway, and surprisingly, he really enjoyed getting involved in this video. He is a bit of a shy guy, but he was so proud of the video that he even showed it on a projector in his workplace! 🤣 I love him so much.

Tools of the trade
I use an iPhone, a tripod, ring lights, and a selfie light. However, I prefer daylight. I use CapCut for editing! Keeping it simple.
For props, I love using candles. I just love candles in general. My partner always says I have too many. I think they create a nice, comfortable atmosphere and remind people of the nice feeling of sitting down in their own home to unwind.
I almost always film my videos in my apartment! However, I love getting some nice B-Roll clips while I’m traveling!

Rose’s creative process
Whenever I have a shoot, I used to wing it! However, for my last couple of projects, I’ve planned everything and written it all down. This has saved me a lot of time, stress and storage space as well!
However, the notes I make are on the notes app on my iPhone, and they look pretty messy. A good mix of Norwegian and English in there too 😉
I love listening to music to get into my creative zone. Music really inspires me, especially electronic music. When a block hits, I try to do the simple tasks first, and not to overthink shots too much. It’s okay not to film the whole video in one day! (As long as you have time). Give your head some time to rest.
My partner Eric helps me with getting some shots, or sometimes even stars in videos. He is a media, film and acting graduate! So it’s always nice to get some help from him when he’s free. If not, I just film on my own with a tripod.

Top creative tip
My top tip is to not overthink things too much! It’s not always best to watch too many other videos that other people have made. Trust your own creativity and ideas. Be yourself. Inspiration is great, but don’t let it put you in a box.
Lastly, what’s next for you?
I would love to learn more about light and composition of the shots. I would also like to get more creative when it comes to props! Maybe I’ll go shopping for some little decorations that can make my videos look more interesting.
