Chloe Hollens on family life, furry co-stars and creating for big brands

For over four years, Chloe Hollens has been filling our galleries with bright, natural content that brands keep coming back for.

Based in England, Chloe is a mum and nurse who freelances as a lifestyle photographer and UGC creator. She's become one of our go-to names for family, pet and lifestyle content, and her work always has that clean, timeless feel, which is exactly why we love having her on our creator team.

Her beautiful family, including the dog, have become regular co-stars in her shoots. She's created content for paid campaigns with brands like Baby Dove, Pedigree, Comfort, James Wellbeloved and, most recently, Philips. Over the years, we've watched her grow in confidence and style, bringing fresh ideas to every brief… and seen her family grow too, with a new little one arriving along the way.

Chloe is also genuinely lovely to work with, which makes it even nicer to have had her with us for so long.

We thought it was about time we got to know her a little better, so let's hear more about how Chloe got started, how she works and what goes into the content she creates.

Let’s chat with Chloe

Hey creators! My name is Chloe Hollens. I started in wedding photography when I was 16 with my uncle and quickly found a passion for detail shots and product shots. I'm actually a nurse by day, but I love running photography alongside it, especially because content creation gives such flexibility and enables me to fulfil a hobby I love.

I mainly work with UGC, product or lifestyle content. However, I love learning new things so would never rule out other content genres

My aesthetic is clean, bright imagery with soft natural light. I steer more towards neutrals and like images to look timeless and expensive.

Chloe’s journey with Creatively Squared

I found Creatively Squared via Instagram. A lovely team member reached out to me four years ago and I jumped at the chance to join!

My most challenging project was with Pedigree and Crave, solely because I had not worked with animals before and learning how to get our dog to produce the content required in a short timeframe was very challenging.

Tools of the trade

I use a Canon R6 and my favourite lenses are 35mm 1.4 or 24-70. I use a tripod if required on the brief. For editing, I tend to use Lightroom and sometimes I will run the image through Photoshop.

I do most all of my photoshoots within my home. Most of my content I produce is shot in our kitchen, bedrooms or living space.

My most used props are usually decorative props like flowers, picture frames, throws and drapes…items that fill a background space.

Chloe’s creative process

When I have a job coming up, I usually like to Google ideas, then screenshot photos I like and add them to an album on my phone for easy access. To get into the creative zone, I like to write my jobs down with pen and paper. I clear my mind with a to-do list and go for a run to reset.

Top creative tip

Being authentic, real and true to yourself. Don’t take on any content that doesn’t align with what you believe.

Lastly, what’s next for you?

I would love to do more product content and improve on my product content skills.
