Let your creativity bloom with these Spring inspired photo ideas

Spring has sprung for many of us in the southern hemisphere and there is an abundance of colour and beauty. Shake off those winter blues, get amongst the spring blossoms and celebrate the new beginnings.

Flowers, flowers, flowers!

Need I say more, Spring is full of beautiful blooms and new growth! Here’s some ways to celebrate all things Spring and flowers…

Go on an adventure!

  • Get a well deserved dose of Vitamin D after winter hibernation! Make a day of it, take a road trip and explore the new growth, flowers and greenery. Pack a picnic and immerse yourself in the change of season.

  • Visit a botanical park if you have one near by and make the most of the botanicals at your doorstep.

  • Take advantage of golden hour now that the days are longer and warmer. Golden hour is the time just before sunset [or sunrise if you are an early bird] when the light is soft. It creates a magical and beautiful glow to your images if you catch it!

  • Get amongst the flowers, literally, from fields of flowers to flower arches, flowers walls to flower street art!

  • Get creative with your flower poses. Remember you don’t always have to the holding the flowers. You could use your boots as vases or creatively edit flowers floating around you! Let your imagination spring into action!

  • Have fun with flowers like making flowers into outfits or create some petal art.
